A day of Bee Keeping
An introduction to Bee Keeping - A fun way to learn a new skill
and experience beekeeping
first hand.
We have our own hives at Barrow House and offer our guests an immersive experience
to learn the history and practicalities of keeping bees.
You will witness the mysteries of the brood nest and marvel at the bees
busily packing away the honey for their winter stores.
After visiting the hive we will return to the House where you will have
an opportunity to make Bees Wax wraps and to sample
our delicious homemade Honey Cake with a refreshing cup of tea.
Classic Car Drives
Three of the most famous Irish driving routes are on our doorstep.
The Ring of Kerry, The Conor Pass and The Wild Atlantic Way
surround us and what better way to enjoy them than drive them in style in an
open topped sports car or European vintage classic.
